I decided to sign up for a local community college ground school. I'm really struggling with retaining the information doing self study, so hopefully a classroom environment will help. I bounced the idea off of CFI and he was all for it.
It doesn't start until January, but I should have a good head start by then at least.

Just found your blog and congrats on starting your journey. Wish I would have done a blog when I started.
The ground school sounds like a great idea (I never wanted to foot the bill for one) Just be sure to ask lots of questions.
For the CC class, it's not too bad, only $82. I'm hoping it will be using the books I already have.
